All 181 IW members will utilize the established Virtual Drill homepage located at https://www.181iw.ang.af.mil/. All content on this page will be available for completion from 1800 on Friday, 3 February through 1800 on Monday, 6 February.

*Note all ISRG members need to update their vRED and SOES in module 6

Priority #1 - All training within Module 1 (Mandatory Training) must be completed by every 181 IW Airmen – Approximately 6-8 hrs

Priority #2 - Additional Training (My Learning training). Complete any additional required CBTs based on the ARCNET report.

Priority #3 – Applicable ONLY to TSgts: Mandatory Intermediate CDP (I-CDP) training. TSgts must request enrollment through MSgt Fries.

Here are the instructions to accessing the Intermediate CDP (I-CDP) course on My Learning:

2. Please read over the Course Introduction; Course Instructions; and Known Issues and Course Feedback Process
3. Students must complete all three Modules along with the Capstone Scenario in order to receive a Course Completion Certificate
4. Each Module will be followed with an End-of-Module Knowledge Assessment that needs to be completed prior to moving on to the next Module
5. Upon completion of the I-CDP course please email a copy of your completed Course Certificate in PDF to joseph.fries@us.af.mil

2. Radar: Introduction to Radar Systems — Online Course
Description: The set of 10 lectures starts with an introductory description of basic radar concepts and terms. The radar equation needed for the basic understanding of radar is then developed, along with several examples of its use in radar system design. Radar propagation issues such as attenuation, multipath effects, and ducting are described. The concept of radar cross-section, waveform design, antennas, transmitter and receiver characteristics, and the detection of radar signals in the presence of noise are presented. Some radars are required to detect small targets in the presence of much larger radar echoes from sea or land clutter in the radar's coverage. The characteristics of this clutter are discussed with moving target indicator (MTI) and Pulse Doppler techniques for mitigating the negative effects of clutter. The course continues with lectures covering target tracking and target parameter estimation. The last lecture discusses radar transmitters and receivers.

Students can also download the slides(viewgraphs) and ingest the material that way if the videos are too long.
